What We Do

The most important goal of the Centro Laboral de Graton (The Graton Day Labor Center) is to secure safe, dignified employment for laborers. Toward that aim, it is also a goal of the center to provide ongoing access to language and job training to increase the chances for such work.

The day labor center is also aware that issues of health, housing, empowerment, community, accountability and environment are also key to a healthy community as well as a healthy individual. Programs that address these issues are offered at our center according to the priorities of the day labor assembly.
